OF MENTAL FREEDOM AND OUR CONSCIOUSNESS

Conscious mind is part of our mental ability which exercises choice in the thoughts it will certify as true and to which it will concentrate upon and impress to the subconscious mind, which has no such privileges.
The tendency of the conscious mind to have this privilege is the path with which we have our freedom. This freedom is contained in our freedom of choice in the thoughts we harbor in our mind. It follows that the subconscious mind will act on any thought impressed upon it without questioning its authenticity as this work is undertaken by the conscious mind.
Our path of freedom, based on the above knowledge is therefore limited to the point of cause. This is so because, as much as we have power over causes based on the above fact, we have no power over the effects of the choices that we make.

It therefore follows that, based on our mental attitude, the kind of thoughts that we allow our conscious mind to focus upon, the same shall be impressed upon the subconscious  mind, which in turn, shall be reflected to the Universal Mind- the Mind of God. Since the Universal Mind is Subjective Mind, which acts upon the thoughts reflected to It by our subconscious mind, It in turn projects the object of our thought into form. This projected form is the effects of the object of our thoughts. This knowledge fits in squarely with the aphorism, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he,” as found in Proverbs 23:7.
The above fact is also in line with the statement of St. Paul in Galatians 6:7 which says that, “…for whatever man shall sow, that shall he also reap.”
Simply put, the above statement from the father of the gentile faith means that you cannot sow beans and reap peas.
The subconscious mind, which is subjective mind is said to be individualized Mind of God in us. This individualized mind is what makes us sons of God. This understanding is realized in the notion that the Universal Mind that is responsible for the projection into form, of the object of our thoughts, impressed upon it by our subjective mind, is the Subjective Mind of God. The Subjective Mind of God is the Law of liberty, whereas the Objective Mind of God is the Love of God and is spontaneously giving.
The Objective Mind or the Love of God, works with the Law, the Subjective. This Law is the law of cause and effect.
