One of the general definitions of the term ‘science’
is that it is a systematically organized body of knowledge on a particular
subject. Equally, the definition of the term ‘reality’ is the state or
quality of having existence or substance.
The organized body of knowledge
on a particular subject enables us to understand the way of the subject. The
way of the subject is the government, the principles of which are responsible for
the way the subject is. Similarly, the principles governing the state of the
subject lead us to the knowledge on the state or quality of having existence or
substance on the subject. The governing principles are found through science,
while the quality of having existence is found through reality.
So, the quality of having
existence in a subject is the essence of reality, while the governing
principles behind the quality of having existence are the essence of science in
the reality of the subject.
As such, reality is a science.
